This afternoon at 6 p.m., through the ZOOM platform, the Centro Cultural de China presents its 16th meeting of the China Between the Lines reading club, in which the author Xiao Hong’s masterpiece, Fields of Life and Death and Other Stories, will be read.
Xiao Hong is one of the extraordinary Chinese writers of the last century. A woman of short and difficult life, with a great talent for narrative and literary recreation of misery, desolation and human suffering. This session will be attended by the sinologist and translator of the book Teresa I. Tejeda Martín will give a detailed introduction to the author and her literary creations.
