As part of the Official Section of PHotoESPAÑA 2021, Casa Árabe presents the exhibition Barzakh. Between Two Worlds, this morning at 11.30 am.
This project, curated by Xavier de Luca and Hourari Bouchenak, has been selected in the first edition of the Nur call, which seeks to give visibility and dissemination to projects that offer a look at one or several aspects of Arab societies, from a contemporary curatorial perspective. The presentation will feature speeches by Pedro Martínez-Avial, Casa Árabe’s Director General; Nuria Medina, Casa Árabe’s Culture Coordinator; Claude Bussac, Director of PHotoESPAÑA, the exhibition’s curators, as well as some of the artists taking part in the exhibition.
