Digital debate on 30 years of Ibero-American Summits

This afternoon at 4 p.m., the Fundación Carolina and Casa de América are organising a digital debate on the Ibero-American Summits, 30 years after they were first organised.

The first Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government was held in Guadalajara (Mexico) in 1991. It was the beginning of a process of consultation that today, thirty years later, has become consolidated as a unique space for dialogue and an active platform for advanced cooperation based on unique socio-cultural links that define Ibero-America as a community of identity and values that differentiate the societies and countries that make it up. Rebeca Grynspan, Ibero-American Secretary General, and Cristina Gallach, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Ibero-America and the Caribbean, will take part in the debate. José Antonio Sanahuja, Director of the Fundación Carolina, will moderate the event. The event can be followed at this link.
