The Autumn Festival of the Community of Madrid will hold its 38th edition from 12 to 29 November 2020. The event -one of the most prestigious and eagerly awaited on the scene in our country-, which will make its full program public at the end of September, will feature more than forty national and international stage proposals, eight of which will be absolute premieres.
Under the new artistic direction of playwright and National Dramatic Literature Award winner Alberto Conejero (in the photo), the Autumn Festival will multiply its presence this year in the region’s municipalities, with shows in Coslada, Móstoles, Getafe, La Cabrera, Fuenlabrada, San Lorenzo de El Escorial and Alcalá de Henares. It has also committed itself to expanding its dialogue and collaboration with state, municipal and independent entities and spaces. Thus, the Museo del Prado, Conde Duque Madrid, the Spanish Film Library, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Naves del Español in Matadero and rooms such as Mirador or Nave 73 will be added to the traditional spaces of the festival, as the Teatro de La Abadía, the Canal Theaters, the Sala Cuarta Pared, the Teatro Pradillo, La Casa Encendida or the Corral de Comedias in Alcalá de Henares.
