The Spanish government has called for the containment of India and Pakistan, given the recent escalation of tension between the two countries. In a statement issued Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Spain insists on “the importance of dialogue and collaboration between the two States to achieve greater stability that benefits their people and the entire region”.
“From its reiterated commitment to the fight against terrorism and transnational organized crime, in all its forms and in any place in the world where it is carried out, Spain -says the communique- expects those responsible for the terrorist attack of the past 14 February can be quickly identified and brought to justice, while recalling the obligation of all States of the international community to ensure that their territory can not be used to organize or perpetrate terrorist acts”.
