Spains encourages Serbia to solve Kosovo dispute with dialogue

The Diplomat. 27/10/2018

Foreign Minister Josep Borrell expressed yesterday to Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, the support of the Spanish government for the dispute over the status of Kosovo territory to be resolved through direct dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, under the auspices of the EU. Spain believes that only that can produce a lasting solution.

Borrell, who met with Dacic, in Malaga, on the margins of the Mediterranean Conference of the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe (OSCE), also indicated that Spain will continue supporting the candidacy of Serbia to the EU, encouraging its counterpart to deepen the path of reforms.
