Carmen de la Peña, nombrada embajadora ante el Vaticano

La diplomática Carmen de la Peña fue nombrada ayer por el Consejo de Ministros nueva embajadora de España ante la Santa Sede, en sustitución de Gerado Bugallo, según adelantó The Diplomat.

De La Peña, que será la segunda mujer embajadora de España ante el Vaticano, fue hasta hace poco cónsul general en Berna y ha sido anteriormente embajadora en Catar y en Etiopía, así como Directora General para África, entre 2008 y 2011.
