Casa América screens the film ‘Nadie nos mira’, by Julia Solomonoff

The film ‘Nadie nos mira’ (Nobody looks at us) is screened at Casa América on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until September 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Nico Lenke leaves a promising acting career in Argentina, after a tumultuous break with his producer. He lands in New York, attracted by the belief that his talent will help him find success “on his own” and demonstrate his self-esteem. But that is not what you find. Too blond to play a Latino, with an accent too strong to interpret anything else, Nico falls through the cracks, and must juggle to survive.
