The airports of the network of Aena registered, in January, 8.7% more passengers than in the same month of 2017, getting close to 15.5 million (10 million in international flights and 5.3 in national flights), according to a statement of the airport agent.
In January, there were 147,651 moves of airplanes in the Spanish airports, between take-offs and landings, 6.9 % more than in the same month of the previous year. This way, Aena maintains a growth rate similar to the one it had last year, when 249.2 million passengers, 8.2% more than in 2016, circulated through its airports breaking a historic record.
