The president of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, congratulated the president of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, yesterday on the victory of his coalition in the parliamentary election of Sunday, in which, he affirmed, “the Argentinian people have clearly and unequivocally expressed their support to a political project based on reliability, effort and transparency, and that is bearing fruit in terms of economic growth”.
“I would like to congratulate him on the electoral victory of Cambiemos in the partial election to the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate held yesterday”, Rajoy declared in a telegram.
“As it was proved during his visit of State to Madrid in February, Spain and Argentina are strategic partners that share many interests and that maintain similar points of view on the main challenges that the international community is facing”, Rajoy continued. He also assured Macri that he will still be able to count on his “complete collaboration” and expressed his wish to be able to meet him.
