Until 20 August, the Canal Theatres present, in their Sala Verde, the comedy Siglo de Oro, siglo de ahora, of the theatre company Ron Lalá.
A company of ‘language comedians’ gets on stage to offer its Folia: a party of a “new short farce”, original short comic pieces that play with the classical tradition to look at our present with critical and sharp eyes. In this journey from the Golden Age to the present, the Folia (“craziness”) opens a dialogue between classical and contemporary elements with the freedom of humour, the emotions of live music and the beauty of the verse.
