Casa Árabe screens the Israeli film ‘Bar Bahar’, by Maysaloun Hamoud

Casa Árabe of Madrid is screening, this afternoon at 20:00 hrs, the film Bar Bahar, directed by Maysaloun Hamoud, in the inauguration of this year’s first cinema series.

Leila, Nour and Salma are three Palestinian citizens of Israel who live in Tel Aviv, where they share an apartment and their experiences. Bar Bahar –Between two worlds- reflects the duality to which three young women are subjected in their daily life, trapped between tradition and the life in the big city, as well as the price they must pay for a lifestyle that most people considers to be normal: the freedom of working, having fun and choosing.
