The Embassy of Qatar celebrated its National Holiday on Wednesday with a reception at Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid, commemorating the access to the throne of Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, founder of the State of Qatar.
The reception was attended by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Ybáñez (in the photo above, with the Qatari ambassador, Abdul Razzak Al Ghani, during the screening of a video about the history and future of This country of the Persian Gulf).
Among the guests were numerous Spanish businessmen, as well as the ambassadors of Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Albania and Georgia, among others.
