Marca España will be presenting its spectacular video mapping España Hoy. A new vision of Spanish talent, at the beginning of September in Berlin. Its aim is to promote an innovative image of Spain to the world.
The German capital will be the first city outside Spain where this spectacular audiovisual will be shown. It had its official début in Barcelona Port, from 3 to 6 March this year. In Berlin, it will include new elements making specific references, easily recognisable by the German spectator.
“They will be nods to the German public”, The Diplomat was told by sources at Marca España. Among them will be the German flag, in addition to elements that identify Spanish talent through research, design, gastronomy, sport and artistic heritage.
The Marca España directors have still not disclosed the precise place in the German capital where the audiovisual will be shown. But they claim that it will be in a “special setting”, in view of the singular nature of the event, which will promote the image, or hallmark, of Marca España.
In this video mapping, a 3D technology projecting on buildings or structures in the open air, Marca España brings together moving images, in extremely high resolution, with music and visual effects.
To do so, it has created a setting comprising curving bodies that reproduce the tilde of the Spanish letter ñ and which configure a sculpture that acts as an enormous projection screen.
In addition, it is a carbon neutral event. This means that the CO2 emissions linked to it will be compensated by a clean energy project, so that the final balance of emissions will equal zero.
After its presentation in Berlin, Marca España envisages taking its video mapping to other cities throughout the world. “In each of them, we will be introducing elements specific to every country we visit”, said Marca España sources. The objective is to ensure that the spectators identify themselves more with the projection through references that are familiar to them.
