The Japanese author Mitsuyo Kakuta participates in Getafe Negro, the festival of crime novel of Madrid. This edition has the Japanese culture and literature as guests of honour. Mitsuyo Kakuta, a writer awarded numerous literary prizes, such as the Naoki, one of the most prestigious of the Japanese literature, will offer two conferences to discover the world of her novels with two women who know the Japanese literature well, Kayoko Takagi (professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid) and Ana Matellanes (author of the blog Koratai). Besides, the conference celebrated next 26 October will have the presence of Lorenzo Silva.

Rebirth will be screened for the first time in Spain after the conference. Based on one of her works, Yôkame no semi, winner of 11 awards of the Japanese Academy of Cinema, among them that for Best Film.
Besides, during the festival, the Foundation Japan of Madrid organizes from 20 to 31 October at the flour factory of Getafe an exhibition about the World Heritage of Japan. A photographic exhibition taking us to places in Japan, which are part of the World Heritage of the Unesco.
