International tourist arrivals and tourist spending in Spain continued their upward trend this summer. Spain received 42.5 million international tourists during the first six months of the year, 13.3% more than in the same period last year. These tourists increased their spending by 20.6%, exceeding 55,500 million euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United Kingdom is the country that exported the most international tourists during these six months, with almost 8.5 million, 10.1% more than the figures for the previous year, according to data from the Statistics on Tourist Movements at Borders (Frontur) published yesterday by the National Statistics Institute (INE).<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are followed by German tourists, with 5.55 million (10.9%) and French tourists, with 5.44 million (12.9%). However, the highest growth was recorded among tourists coming from countries outside Europe and America, where growth reached 25.8%, up to 2.5 million euros.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
