{"id":90211,"date":"2024-07-25T06:05:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-25T04:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thediplomatinspain.com\/?p=90211"},"modified":"2024-07-25T12:53:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-25T10:53:54","slug":"iberdrola-increases-its-profit-by-64-up-to-4134-million-in-the-first-half","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thediplomatinspain.com\/en\/2024\/07\/25\/iberdrola-increases-its-profit-by-64-up-to-4134-million-in-the-first-half\/","title":{"rendered":"Iberdrola increases its profit by 64%, up to 4,134 million, in the first half"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>The Diplomat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Iberdrola registr\u00f3\u00a0un beneficio neto de 4.134 millones de euros\u00a0en el primer semestre del a\u00f1o, lo que representa un incremento del 64% con respecto al mismo periodo del ejercicio anterior.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>La multinacional espa\u00f1ola inform\u00f3 ayer de que <strong>las plusval\u00edas millonarias registradas con la venta de activos en M\u00e9xico, permiten mejorar las previsiones para un 2024 en el que\u00a0apunta a unas nuevas ganancias r\u00e9cord.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>El resultado bruto de explotaci\u00f3n (Ebitda) reportado a cierre de junio se situ\u00f3 en los 9.613 millones de euros, con un crecimiento del 27% debido a esas plusval\u00edas de M\u00e9xico -que suponen una contribuci\u00f3n de 1.717 millones de euros a nivel Ebitda y de 1.165,2 millones de euros al beneficio neto- y el mejor desempe\u00f1o operativo,\u00a0alcanzando cerca del 90% de producci\u00f3n libre de emisiones.<\/p>\n\n<p>Excluyendo la plusval\u00eda de M\u00e9xico y la recuperaci\u00f3n del d\u00e9ficit de tarifa del Reino Unido, el Ebitda recurrente de la energ\u00e9tica crece un 9%, hasta los 7.897 millones de euros, impulsado por una generaci\u00f3n renovable r\u00e9cord efecto de la mayor e\u00f3lica marina y la contribuci\u00f3n de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, as\u00ed como por el crecimiento del negocio de redes en Reino Unido.<\/p>\n\n<p>La cifra de negocios de Iberdrola en el periodo de enero a junio de este a\u00f1o ascendi\u00f3 a 22.637 millones de euros, con un descenso del 13,8% con respecto al mismo periodo de 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p>Con estos resultados, la energ\u00e9tica ha decidido acelerar en sus objetivos para el conjunto de 2024 y prev\u00e9 un incremento de doble d\u00edgito en el beneficio neto, excluyendo plusval\u00edas por rotaci\u00f3n de activos, gracias a la aportaci\u00f3n de las nuevas inversiones en redes, las revisiones de tarifas en los Estados Unidos, el Reino Unido y Brasil y los 1.600 megavatios (MW) renovables que tiene en construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Las inversiones brutas <\/strong>en el semestre de la energ\u00e9tica presidida por Ignacio S\u00e1nchez Gal\u00e1n <strong>alcanzaron la cifra r\u00e9cord de 5.276 millones <\/strong>de euros, con un incremento del 16,0%, en l\u00ednea con el plan estrat\u00e9gico 2024-2026 de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n<p>De esta cifra inversora en el periodo, <strong>un 56% se destin\u00f3 a Estados Unidos y Reino Unido, un 19% a la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, un 15% a Latinoam\u00e9rica, y un 10% a otros pa\u00edses de Europa y a Australia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Por negocios, el \u00e1rea de redes recibi\u00f3 el 51% de las inversiones, alcanzando los 2.708 millones de euros en el primer semestre de 2024, lo que supone un incremento del 23%<\/p>\n\n<p>En los \u00faltimos 12 meses Iberdrola se han instalado unos 800 MW e\u00f3licos marinos, lo que supone un incremento del 60% respecto al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior ante la incorporaci\u00f3n de Saint Brieuc (Francia), y de los primeros aerogeneradores en funcionamiento de los parques Vineyard Wind 1 (EE.UU.) y de Baltic Eagle (Alemania)\u00a0hasta alcanzar en la actualidad los 2.300 MW.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Diplomat Iberdrola registr\u00f3\u00a0un beneficio neto de 4.134 millones de euros\u00a0en el primer semestre del a\u00f1o, lo que representa un incremento del 64% con respecto al mismo periodo del ejercicio anterior.
