{"id":89725,"date":"2024-07-19T06:03:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-19T04:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thediplomatinspain.com\/?p=89725"},"modified":"2024-07-18T18:53:37","modified_gmt":"2024-07-18T16:53:37","slug":"spain-receives-241-million-euros-of-european-funds-for-the-trans-european-transport-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thediplomatinspain.com\/en\/2024\/07\/19\/spain-receives-241-million-euros-of-european-funds-for-the-trans-european-transport-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Spain receives 241 million euros of European funds for the trans-European transport network"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>The Diplomat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spain has received 241 million euros in European aid to finance actions aimed at deploying an efficient and sustainable Trans-European Transport Network through 22 business projects validated by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 22 projects have been selected to receive funds within the framework of the 2023 call of the Connecting Europe Facility dedicated to the development of network transport infrastructure, as reported by the Ministry yesterday in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fifteen of these projects are developed exclusively in Spain by public and private companies and seven are community projects with Spanish participation. Specifically, thirteen of the fifteen projects will have 208 million euros to carry out transport decarbonization and digitalization actions in eight autonomous communities: Arag\u00f3n; Catalonia; Valencian Community; Andalusia; The Rioja; Cantabria; Madrid and Asturias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other nine projects, with an impact throughout the country, will receive around 38 million euros. The selected actions are those that have achieved the best score in each of the lines of the call in which they participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aid from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is awarded on a competitive basis, so the selected projects are those with the highest scores.
