Entry to the space is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A climate shelter is an accessible space that protects us from the high temperatures of summer. It is especially intended for people most vulnerable to heat, but is open to all citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Global warming is an undeniable fact, as is the \u201cheat island\u201d effect that occurs in urban environments. So adapting to the heat is an urgent need for cities. There are numerous spaces conditioned against heat, but the particularity of climate shelters is that they are not linked to consumption: they are open places that share their thermal comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This climate shelter, which will be open to the public until August 31, is located in the Ballroom, the largest and most beautiful space in the Circle and its objective is to be a square, but covered, cool, with vegetation and places to rest, meet, work, relax, read or play chess. To make this space more welcoming, they have the facilities and furniture designed by Basurama in collaboration with Germinando and the more than 300 plants provided to us by the Retiro Stove Nursery. The Shelter also has the sound activation &#8216;Plant Permanence&#8217;, developed specifically for this space by the artist <strong>Sayaka Fujio<\/strong> from the SUR School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this shelter you can find a <strong>work space,<\/strong> with tables, WiFi connection and sockets for cell phones and computers. Everything you need to work comfortably! You can also find a <strong>rest space,<\/strong> where you can take a break in the relaxation area and enjoy a meditation guided by Sayaka Fujio. Likewise, you can see a <strong>water source<\/strong> to keep your body hydrated. Don&#8217;t forget to bring the reusable bottle! There will be <strong>chess and reading corners, <\/strong>with tables and boards, and also some books for adults and children. And finally, <strong>plant nursery:<\/strong> the circle takes care of your plants if you go on a trip!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting tomorrow, Thursday
