On the occasion of the commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day, the Centro Sefarad-Israel<\/strong>\u00a0is telling the story of Mosh\u00e9 Haeli\u00f3n, <\/i><\/b>Sephardi\u00a0survivor of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, this afternoon at 19hrs in its headquarters at \u00a0the Palacio de\u00a0Ca\u00f1ete.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mosh\u00e9 Haeli\u00f3n was just sixteen years old when Hitler’s troops marched into Salonica (Thessaloniki), the city where he was born. Mosh\u00e9 was sent to Auschwitz along with his mother and sister but he lost them as soon as he arrived in the camp. \u00a0In Auschwitz he suffered the longest 21 months of his life, although he still had to pass through a further three concentration camps.
