The 52nd<\/sup> anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Spain was the focus at the reception offered on Thursday by Sudan\u2019s Ambassador, Mohamed Abdalla Ahmed (in the photo, with the secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Yb\u00e1\u00f1ez, when the commemorative cake was being cut), to celebrate the National Day of this African country.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As well as Ignacio Yb\u00e1\u00f1ez, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was also present director general for Africa, Manuel G\u00f3mez-Acebo.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also attending the event were the ambassadors of Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and North Korea. The embassies of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Irak, Yemen, Syria, Arab Emirates and Russia were also represented.<\/p>\n
