The president of Paraguay, Santiago Pe\u00f1a, received this past Monday a delegation of Ibero-American businessmen interested in investment projects in the country, led by the president of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI) N\u00faria Vilanova.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting continued the meetings that President Pe\u00f1a held last February, during his visit to Spain<\/strong>, in which he met with local authorities and businessmen, as highlighted by the Paraguayan Presidency on his website.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During the meeting, Pe\u00f1a highlighted the work of his Government to facilitate investment and growth conditions in his country and N\u00faria Vilanova declared, in a press conference, that \u201cin Paraguay you not only have, you must invest\u201d,<\/strong> because “It is in the sights of many businessmen, it is a stable country, it has notable economic growth and a currency that has not lost zeros, and that is not seen anywhere.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Vilanova also recalled that there are many new markets interested in investing in Paraguay, such as the Middle East, India and other countries. \u201cThis country has everything: water, energy, the capacity to produce food, people willing to work, a privileged geographical location,\u201d she highlighted. \u201cParaguay transmits confidence, stability, today the world needs Paraguay,\u201d she stressed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Furthermore, the president of CEAPI highlighted the \u201cgreat work\u201d of the Paraguayan Government, \u201cwhich has dedicated itself to making this country a point of reception and job creation, which in the end is what helps us take advantage of the opportunities that transform the countries, reaching all levels of the population.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the meeting with President Pe\u00f1a, as reported by the Council in a press release, the delegation of businessmen, together with CEAPI partners, held working meetings with the vice minister of REDIEX (Investment and Export Network), Rodrigo Maluff.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Subsequently, they participated in a lunch at the Integration House of CAF – Development Bank of Latin America along with other personalities of the Paraguayan Government, such as the Chancellor, Rub\u00e9n Ram\u00edrez and the Ministers of Technology, Industry and Commerce, Economy and Labor, among others. . Finally, together with the vice president of ONCE, Alberto Dur\u00e1n, they attended the Institutional Ceremony of the 25th Anniversary of the ONCE Foundation in Latin America (FOAL).<\/p>\n
