The artists included in the exhibition, in addition to the sea, are united by an insurrectionary attitude towards various problems and discussions in the Colombian and Latin American artistic milieu. A profound vision with which they dialogue from four points:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Structural racism, transatlantic journeys, coloniality and the Caribbean as a micro-history of the universe <strong>(Jessica Mitrani, La Vulcanizadora, Liliana Angulo, Carlos Motta, Calder\u00f3n &amp; Pi\u00f1eros and Delcy Morelos);<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Informal labour, historical memory, social classes and extractive economies <strong>(Alexandra Gelis, Dayro Carrasquilla, Kevin Mancera and Gonzalo Fuenmayor);<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The reclamation of the Caribbean landscape, the representation of territory and the dislocation of exoticist gazes <strong>(Juli\u00e1n Chams, Hernando &#8220;Momo&#8221; del Villar, Carson Hudgson, Jos\u00e9 Olano, Teresa S\u00e1nchez, Ramiro G\u00f3mez and PaEntro Espacio);<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; And the identities, imaginaries, cosmovisions and performativities of popular culture from and about the Caribbean <strong>(\u00c1lvaro Barrios, Alfonso Su\u00e1rez, Mar\u00eda Isabel Rueda, Eusebio Siosi and Andr\u00e9s Mat\u00edas Pinilla).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Constelaciones e insurrecciones tropicales&#8217; is an exhibition framework that weaves narratives between artists who are referents in the art of the Colombian Caribbean, from the decade of the seventies to a review of the recent production of new creators from the region. It also includes some Colombian artists from other areas of the country whose work expands and complements the conceptual territory of the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/zen-hopper.82-223-81-17.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Cuadros-ok.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\"
