The domestic and global consequences of the mid-term elections.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After welcoming remarks by <strong>Luis Prados,<\/strong> Director of Programming at Casa Am\u00e9rica, <strong>Vicente Palacio,<\/strong> Director of Foreign Policy, Fundaci\u00f3n Alternativas, will introduce and moderate the event. The debate will have two sessions, the first at 18:45, entitled <strong><em>Results of the midterm elections and their impact on the USA,<\/em><\/strong> with the participation of <strong>Cristina Olea,<\/strong> <em>RTVE<\/em> correspondent (Washington DC), and <strong>Dan Rosenheck,<\/strong> Data Editor, <em>The Economist<\/em> (London). The second session, at 19.15, is entitled <strong><em>The Consequences for the US, Europe and the World,<\/em><\/strong> and will feature <strong>Gayle Allard,<\/strong> Associate Professor of Economics, IE Business School; <strong>Jorge Tamames, <\/strong>Research Fellow, Real Instituto Elcano, and <strong>Ana Palacio, <\/strong>former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs.
