During his speech, Abinader bet on &#8220;pro-investment, pro-business and pro-employment&#8221;, Casado valued the reforms undertaken by the Government to improve the conditions of access of foreign investors and M\u00e9ndez advocated the diversification of investment beyond tourism, with special attention to energy and food security.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Narciso Casado took part in a meeting with <strong>the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes of the Dominican Republic, Ito Bison\u00f3<\/strong>, and with the ambassadors of the entire region accredited to the island. He also met with the director of State Ceremonial and Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, Francisco Cantizano, and with the ambassador in charge of relations with Europe, Ana Castellanos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, Casado met with representatives of the Follow-up Committee of the XIV Ibero-American Business Meeting, which includes Dominican business organizations. At this meeting, they discussed the preparatory work for the <strong>XIV Ibero-American Business Meeting, which will take place within the framework of the next Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, to be held in the Dominican Republic in March 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The meeting also discussed issues related to the theme of the Business Meeting, such as sustainability and climate action, new financing models for the development of sustainable business, economic prospects for Ibero-America, connectivity and infrastructure in the Ibero-American space, energy and ecological transition in Ibero-America, digital transformation and tourism in Ibero-America.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Casado also took advantage of the various meetings to invite the different authorities and businessmen to the V Ibero-American Forum of MSMEs, which will be held on November 14 and 15 in Lisbon and which, together with the III Ibero-American
