The Fundaci\u00f3n Canal<\/strong> in Madrid presents in its Mateo Inurria 2 hall the exhibition Alice in Wonderland by Dal\u00ed, Ernst, Laurencin & Tenniel,<\/em><\/strong> which shows the works that, based on Lewis Carroll’s<\/strong> immortal work, were created by Salvador Dal\u00ed, Max Ernst <\/strong>and Marie Laurencin. <\/strong>It can be visited until 8 January.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The exhibition also features a large selection of prints of the original illustrations that John Tenniel<\/strong> made for the first edition of the novel in 1865, the two pioneering films based on the publication and the short film Destino,<\/em> by Walt Disney and Salvador Dal\u00ed, released in 2003.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alice notably sparked the imagination of the members of the avant-garde movements of the first half of the 20th century and inspired numerous works of the period.
