{"id":77566,"date":"2022-08-24T04:02:57","date_gmt":"2022-08-24T02:02:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zen-hopper.82-223-81-17.plesk.page\/2022\/08\/24\/airef-expects-spains-gdp-to-fall-by-0-2-in-the-third-quarter\/"},"modified":"2022-08-24T04:02:57","modified_gmt":"2022-08-24T02:02:57","slug":"airef-expects-spains-gdp-to-fall-by-0-2-in-the-third-quarter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thediplomatinspain.com\/en\/2022\/08\/24\/airef-expects-spains-gdp-to-fall-by-0-2-in-the-third-quarter\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2028AIReF expects Spain&#8217;s GDP to fall by 0.2% in the third quarter\u2028"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6 class=\"p1\"><strong>The Diplomat<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <strong>Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) forecasts that GDP will fall by 0.2% in the third quarter of the year<\/strong> quarter-on-quarter, which would correspond to a year-on-year rate in the period of 3.4%.\u2028\u2028\u2028According to the latest update of the real-time gross domestic product (GDP) forecasting model (MIPred) published by AIReF, the level of activity would be 2.7 percentage points lower than in the fourth quarter of 2019, before the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2028In this new update of the MIPred forecast, <strong>AIReF has included a new indicator, total imports of goods for the month of June,<\/strong> although it specifies that at the moment it only has 57.1% of the indicators for July and no additional data for August or September.
