School Merit Award 2022, ten Dominican students or students of Dominican origin, between the ages of 11 and 18, received an educational and cultural trip to Santo Domingo, where they were received by President Luis Abinader and the First Lady, Mrs. Raquel Arbaje.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They were also received by Foreign Minister Roberto \u00c1lvarez, with whom they exchanged impressions, and by the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Mr. Jos\u00e9 Paliza, who accompanied them on a tour of the National Palace, as well as other authorities of the Dominican Government and the Garc\u00eda Ar\u00e9valo Foundation, INC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The objective of these awards, says the <strong>Embassy of the Dominican Republic<\/strong> in Madrid in a statement, is &#8220;<strong>to recognise the meritorious students in Spain, as well as to show the enormous value of Dominicans living abroad,<\/strong> to promote Dominican identity in the new generations and to give greater visibility to the diaspora in Dominican territory&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a culmination of the XII Edition of the
