With the support of Swiss Films, the Swiss Embassy<\/strong> recommends the new film by Swiss director Stefan J\u00e4ger,<\/strong> La fot\u00f3grafa de Monte Verit\u00e1 (Monte Verit\u00e1),<\/em><\/strong> a period drama set in Monte Verit\u00e0, the first hippie commune in history, a place where artists and intellectuals of the time (early 20th century) shared their time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1906, a young mother, Hanna, feels how she is drowning in her corseted role and her social limitations. She flees to Monte Verit\u00e0, where she discovers the idyllic nature of the canton of Ticino and dares to dedicate herself, body and soul, courageously to art.
