The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan)<\/strong> is launching a new edition of the Taiwan Fellowship<\/strong> programme, through which researchers, experts or university professors can carry out research projects and studies in universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Those interested may send their applications from 1 May to 30 June 2022, and must carry out their research project in Taiwan in 2023, for a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve. They should apply online through this website, and then send a copy of the information uploaded on the project website<\/strong> by post to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECTO) in Madrid (C\/ Rosario Pino, 14-16, 18th floor, 28020 Madrid), together with the following documents: application form, curriculum vitae (including list of publications); research proposal (three pages) and two letters of recommendation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The main requirement is that their research should be in the fields of social sciences or humanities on topics related to Taiwan, cross-Taiwan Strait relations, mainland China, the Asia-Pacific region or sinology studies in general, with special priority given to issues such as the contemporary and post-pandemic economic and political situation, regional security in the Indo-Pacific region, and global information security and the fight against misinformation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The project is open to university professors, associate professors, assistant professors, postdoctoral and doctoral researchers, or students in doctoral programmes, as well as other researchers of similar level in academic institutions.
