{"id":76300,"date":"2022-03-28T04:00:36","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T02:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zen-hopper.82-223-81-17.plesk.page\/2022\/03\/28\/retrospective-of-multifaceted-chilean-artist-german-bobe\/"},"modified":"2022-03-28T04:00:36","modified_gmt":"2022-03-28T02:00:36","slug":"retrospective-of-multifaceted-chilean-artist-german-bobe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thediplomatinspain.com\/en\/2022\/03\/28\/retrospective-of-multifaceted-chilean-artist-german-bobe\/","title":{"rendered":"Retrospective of multifaceted Chilean artist German Bobe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Embassy of Chile<\/strong> informs of the presentation of the director and interdisciplinary artist <strong>German Bobe<\/strong> (1963), considered a symbol of postmodern aesthetics during the democratic transition and a precursor of LGTBI themes in the 1990s, from Tuesday 29 March to 10 April at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isolinaarbulu.com\/artists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Galer\u00eda Isolina Arbul\u00fa<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in Marbella, with the retrospective <strong><em>Disidencias barrocas y transici\u00f3n pol\u00edtica en Chile (Baroque Dissidence and Political Transition in Chile).<\/em><\/strong> The exhibition, accompanied by talks, can also be visited at the <strong>Cineteca de Madrid<\/strong> at the Centro Cultural Matadero, from 1 to 3 April.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Germ\u00e1n Bobe&#8217;s proposal, which includes a wide selection of works made between 1988 and 2022, exhibits the new scenarios of the Chilean post-dictatorship. The audiovisual cycle seeks to establish a journey through the work of this multifaceted creator, showing the incipient &#8211; and progressive &#8211; dialogue of Chile&#8217;s political, social and cultural awakening.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the 30 works that make up this retrospective will reveal an early poetics on sexual dissidence in the last decade of the last century in this country and which, in the years to come, was deepened by artists from different areas of art and culture, who developed their work based on this baroque imaginary elaborated by
