Fundaci\u00f3n Alternativas<\/strong> and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung<\/strong> will present the Report 2021 on the State of the European Union: Europe in a period of transition,<\/em><\/strong> carried out with the support of the Secretary of State for the European Union, next Monday at 12 noon at the European Commission Headquarters in Spain.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The report will be presented by Diego L\u00f3pez Garrido,<\/strong> Executive Vice-President of the Fundaci\u00f3n Alternativas, and Luise Rurup,<\/strong> representative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Spain and Portugal, with a special address by Juan Gonz\u00e1lez-Barba Pera, <\/strong>Secretary of State for the European Union.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year’s report is divided into three main blocks: European democracy and the Conference on the Future of Europe; economic recovery and the Next Generation EU recovery funds; and the need to make progress in three areas: foreign policy, the migration and asylum system, and the ‘Europe of health’, the importance of which has been highlighted by the pandemic.
