The Afghan parliamentarian and activist Fawzia Koofi<\/strong> will receive the Casa Asia 2021 Award<\/strong> in Barcelona tomorrow, Friday, in the category of Diversity and Interculturality. <\/em><\/strong>Access by invitation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Albares,<\/strong> will present the Award to the activist in recognition of her work in favour of women’s rights in Afghanistan, her role in the Doha peace talks and her commitment to the education of girls and women. Representatives of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Ajuntament de Barcelona will also speak.
