Several countries were involved in the slave trade, including Portugal, Great Britain, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and the United States. It also shows the rich cultural legacy that travelled from Africa and took root in America.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The screening will be followed by a round table discussion with the participation of <strong>Miguel \u00c1ngel Puig-Samper,<\/strong> Research Professor at the CSIC; <strong>Myriam Mo\u00efse,<\/strong> Professor at the University of the Antilles (Martinique); <strong>Manuel Francisco Fern\u00e1ndez,<\/strong> Professor in the Department of Modern History at the University of Seville, and <strong>\u00c1ngel Quintero Rivera,<\/strong> Professor and Director of Social Research Projects at the Centre for Social Research at the University of Puerto Rico. R\u00edo Piedras Campus. The event will be moderated by <strong>Consuelo Naranjo Orovio,<\/strong> Research Professor at the Instituto de Historia-CSIC and Director of the European project Connected Worlds: The Caribbean,
