The Diplomat<\/strong><\/h6>\n <\/p>\n
The Government of Luxembourg<\/strong> has appointed Christian Biever<\/strong> as its new Ambassador to Spain<\/strong>, to fill the vacancy left by Mich\u00e9le Pranch\u00e9re-Tomassin<\/strong>i, who has been posted to Italy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Christian Biever was until now Director General for Consular, Legal and Cultural Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and was previously Ambassador to the Holy See, with residence in Luxembourg, as well as Ambassador to Greece.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He was also, for some years, President of the European Institute of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, an institution to which, in May 2019, King Felipe VI presented the 13th Charles V European Award in Yuste.<\/p>\n
