T<\/span>he images leaked from Cuba show the ferocious repression against the people. There is no data on deaths, torture or detainees because it is a dictatorial regime that gives the people a choice between socialism or death. That is why when, as now, the people say “no to socialism” they are only offered death as an alternative in the style of what Ceaucescu tried.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The situation is so brutal after 62 years of dictatorship of the proletariat that the silence of PSOE’s great figures of the past is strange. What are Felipe Gonz\u00e1lez, Joaqu\u00edn Leguina, Nicolas Redondo, etc. waiting for to say that they condemn all this and disagree with S\u00e1nchez’s passivity?\u00a0 Let us remember that Felipe, in 1979, just 100 years after the founding of the (Marxist) PSOE by Pablo Iglesias, made an ordago to the party: “either Marxism is eliminated from the ideology or I leave”. As he was not accepted, he resigned, which led the PSOE, which did not want to lose him, to call an Extraordinary Congress and renounce Marxism, which remained only a residual element in the party’s ideology. The result was that Felipe returned and with his charisma, and in the face of Su\u00e1rez’s mistakes, managed, three years later, to become president of Spain, a position he held for fourteen years.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So now the PSOE does not have to renounce the Marxist ideology because it is out of the party, but the most important thing that remains is “works are love and not good reasons”. Given that the party led by S\u00e1nchez is neither here nor expected to criticise the Cuban dictatorship, it is up to the old glories to make a move or sink definitively with the Titanic of Marxist socialism. Cuba gives us a very close example because they speak Spanish, because the family that heads the dictatorship is of Galician origin and because the romantic “hasta siempre comandante” and Che’s cap have been with us for too long.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For a Spaniard today there is no room for nuances. Either he supports the struggle for freedom or he is with the dictatorship. Those who remain silent in the face of the terrible oppression in Cuba have no authority to speak of social justice. To try to disqualify VOX by branding it as extreme right-wing and to remain silent in the face of the crimes being committed against the Cuban people is nothing but demagogy. What is socialism? It is what we see in Cuba. That is why S\u00e1nchez and the PSOE are silent.\u00a0 Zapatero also lacks moral authority after having given his support to the criminal dictator Maduro. If Felipe and the “old glories” want to show that they believe in democratic socialism, they have no choice but to step forward or shut up forever.<\/p>\n
