The two ministers also pledged to strengthen multilateralism and democratic values, as reported by the two Ministries through their respective Twitter accounts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Marc Garneau, former Minister of Transport, assumed the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs just a month ago, on the occasion of the last reshuffle of Justin Trudeau&#8217;s Government. On the other hand, the meeting between Gonz\u00e1lez Laya and Garneau took place on the same day as the presentation of the Letters of Credence by <strong>the new Canadian Ambassador to Spain, Wendy Allen Drukier<\/strong>.
