His Majesty the King received yesterday the Letters of Credence of six new ambassadors accredited to Spain.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

The ceremony took place, as is traditional, at the Royal Palace, where the ambassadors arrived in period carriages from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony was also attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Celsa Nu\u00f1o,<\/strong> since the Minister, Arancha Gonz\u00e1lez Laya<\/strong>, was returning from a trip to the Persian Gulf.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first to present their Letters of Credence was Azzam Abdulkarim Algain, ambassador of Saudi Arabia<\/strong>, a country visited only a few days ago by the head of Spanish diplomacy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This was followed by the ambassador of South Korea, Bahk Sahnghoon<\/strong>, who arrived in Spain just as the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries has just been celebrated.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thirdly, the new ambassador of Canada, Wendy Allen Drukier<\/strong>, presented her credentials, followed by the ambassador of Tunisia, Fatma Omrani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, the King received the Letters of Credence from the ambassador of Guatemala, Monica Renata Bola\u00f1os Perez<\/strong>, and the ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Juan Bolivar Diaz Santana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After each of the deliveries, Felipe VI, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, held a conversation with the ambassadors, whom he welcomed to Spain and with whom he spoke, among other things, about the relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n
