The Instituto Italiano de Cultura<\/strong> of Madrid is collaborating in the presentation of the show Marie,<\/em><\/strong> directed by Rafael Villalobos<\/strong> and set design by Emanuele Sinisi,<\/strong> produced by the Teatro de La Abad\u00eda and the Teatro Real and hosted, as its absolute premiere, at the Teatro de La Abad\u00eda<\/strong> until 17 January.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the iconic character of Woyzeck, Marie delves into the difficulties of a single mother in the face of her sexual freedom which ends up being stoned by society and murdered by her lover. Thus, if the work of Georg B\u00fcchner and his counterpart Wozzeck<\/em> by Alban Berg are considered the tragedy of contemporary man, Marie raises the tragedy of contemporary woman… Tickets and timetables on this link.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
