Admission is by invitation only.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Embassy of the Dominican Republic to the Kingdom of Spain established the Academic Merit Award in 2008 to recognize the academic excellence, effort, and civic values \u200b\u200bof students of Dominican origin residing in Spain. In its 16th edition (2025-2026 school year), this award recognizes young people who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic performance and exemplary behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the award itself, this initiative seeks to strengthen students&#8217; ties with the Dominican Republic, providing them with the opportunity to experience the country from a broader and more enriching perspective.
