Free activity upon registration at this <a href=\"https:\/\/casaasia.powerappsportals.com\/Register-to-Event\/?%20readableEventId=2026_076\"><strong>link.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nadia Anjuman (1980-2005) was an Afghan poet who challenged Taliban oppression by writing in secret. Her work, marked by anguish and hope and heir to the Persian tradition, is published for the first time in Spanish thanks to the publishing house Hiperi\u00f3n and the direct translation of the original done by Roc\u00edo Moriones Alonso, consolidating her legacy as a symbol of female resistance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Born in Herat (Afghanistan), Anjuman became a reference of cultural resistance in one of the most hostile contexts for creative freedom. During the Taliban regime (1996-2001), which prohibited women from studying, he participated in the Golden Needle School, a clandestine literature circle led by Mohammad Naser Rahyab, where he began to forge his poetic voice between risk and hope.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the fall of the regime, he continued his studies at the University of Herat. However, his life ended abruptly and violently. The circumstances were never fully clarified, although everything points to her being killed by her husband. She was only 25. His verse &#8220;I am not like that fragile sauce that shudders in the slightest breeze, I am an Afghan woman and it is only fair that I do not give up on my lament&#8221; summarizes the essence of his work: resistance and dignity in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After a welcoming speech by <strong>Jos\u00e9 Pintor,<\/strong> general director of Casa Asia, the event will be presented and moderated by <strong>Yasm\u00edn Paricio,<\/strong> coordinator of Pol\u00edtica y Sociedad de Casa Asia, in which <strong>Farkhunda Mohibi,<\/strong> producer and journalist of the international television channel AMU, will participate; <strong>Nargis Muradi,<\/strong> dentist born and trained in Iran and Afghanistan; <strong>Roc\u00edo Moriones Alonso<\/strong> (Rome, 1968) literary translator, interpreter and editorial reader; <strong>Ana Ballesteros,<\/strong> senior non-resident researcher of the Real Instituto Elcano, and <strong>Zoe Bonafonte,<\/strong> Spanish
