Fundaci\u00f3n Casa de M\u00e9xico<\/strong> (calle de Alberto Aguilera, 20) exhibits until May 31 the exhibition Vanguardist Rebellions of the 20th Century,<\/em><\/strong> with works from the collection Vicky <\/strong>and Marcos Micha Levy,<\/strong> an exhibition that explores the critical moments and rebellious stories that marked the construction of modern art in Latin America, with special attention to Mexico.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Curated by Taiyana Pimentel Paradoa,<\/strong> the exhibition brings together for the first time in Europe a selection of one hundred works by some of the great artists of Mexico, such as Diego Rivera, Jos\u00e9 Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Saturnino Herr\u00e1n, Miguel Covarrubias, Francisco Toledo <\/strong>and Mathias Goeritz,<\/strong> among others. The exhibition proposes a dialogue between creators who contributed decisively to the construction of artistic modernity in the country, through the gaze of one of the most audacious collectors of Mexico, Marcos Micha Levy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n From various perspectives, the exhibition traces the aesthetic course of art in the Americas, from the Mexican avant-garde to the kinetic and surrealist movements of Latin America, with emphasis on the Parisian encounter of several artists of the continent.
