Until next 9 November, the Teatro Espa\u00f1ol<\/strong> de Madrid (Plaza Santa Ana, calle del Pr\u00edncipe, 25) premieres Esencia (Essence),<\/em><\/strong> one of the most enigmatic works by the madrilenian Garc\u00eda May,<\/strong> in which the spectator is invited to reflect on our certainties and the reality that surrounds them.<\/p>\n

Actors Juan Echanove <\/strong>and Joaquin Climent<\/strong> play Pierre and Cecil, two old friends who meet again after a decade. Through a conversation full of memories, confidences and silences, they both wait for the arrival of a mysterious author who never appears or, perhaps, has been present since the beginning. In this ambiguous space, between the tangible and the imagined, Esencia builds a maze in which certainty is shaken and everything is questioned.<\/p>\n
