The seventh edition of MestizoLab,<\/em><\/strong> a Spanish-Mexican audiovisual co-production forum, will be held from today until next Monday, September 29 at various venues in Madrid. Casa de Am\u00e9rica<\/strong> will host some of the activities of this meeting between professionals of the audiovisual sector in Ibero-America, with a focus on the creation of alliances between Mexico and Spain.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Since its creation, Mestizolab has established itself as a platform for dialogue, training and professional liaison. Each edition brings together creators, producers, institutions and experts from the audiovisual industry to build networks of collaboration across borders.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Programme at Casa de Am\u00e9rica:<\/p>\n Friday, 26 September<\/strong><\/p>\n 16:30. Conversation ‘Ethics and artificial intelligence in the use of stock images’<\/strong><\/p>\n A dialogue on the ethical challenges and possibilities offered by artificial intelligence for preservation, classification and re-use of audiovisual archives. Film and technology experts will share perspectives on how these tools impact the work of film libraries and the future of film heritage. Luis Par\u00e9s,<\/strong> artistic director of Cineteca Matadero, and Javier Leal,<\/strong> CTO of New Art will participate. But everything went wrong and they ended up creating the biggest concert in the history of Mexico: the festival of Av\u00e1ndaro.
