On Thursday, 11 September at 6pm, Casa Asia<\/strong> (calle Mayor, 69), in collaboration with the Club de Madrid<\/strong> and Nola Editores,<\/strong> will host a conversation with the Indian thinker and author Sundeep Waslekar,<\/strong> on the occasion of the publication of his new book: A world without war. The history and policy of conflict resolution.<\/em><\/strong> Free activity upon registration at this link.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a context marked by the modernization of nuclear arsenals, the arms race driven by artificial intelligence, the rise of nationalism and the deterioration of the multilateral order, Waslekar raises an urgent reflection on the real risk of a catastrophic global war. However, his approach is not pessimistic: it starts from a historical and philosophical analysis spanning more than two thousand years to defend that war is a political decision, and therefore avoidable. A unique opportunity to reflect on the future of world peace and the role of our societies in its construction.<\/p>\n

The event will be presented by Rub\u00e9n Campos,<\/strong> senior associate researcher at the Real Instituto Elcano and program coordinator at the Club de Madrid, and Sundeep Waslekar, <\/strong>author of the book and president of the Strategic Foresight Group, a think tank based in India, advising governments and institutions around the world on managing future challenges.
