Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi <\/strong>and Adri\u00e1n Molina<\/strong> have directed Elio,<\/em><\/strong> the new animated film by Pixar, with music by Rob Simonsen<\/strong> and animation by Derek Williams <\/strong>and Jordan Rempel.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n After the death of his parents, young Elio Sol\u00eds lives with his aunt Olga, a major in the Air Force who gave up her aspirations to be an astronaut to raise her nephew. Elio enters a closed exhibition of the Voyager 1 spacecraft, where he is amazed at the idea of discovering other forms of life in outer space.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Years later, Elio wants to be abducted by aliens. Every day, he lies on the beach waiting, but without result.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Just as Elio is facing a beating in a camp, an alien ship arrives and kidnaps him. Inside the spaceship, he meets OOOOO, a liquid supercomputer, and is welcome to the Communiverse, where extraterrestrials share knowledge of their worlds. Other ambassadors mistakenly declare him to be an ambassador for Earth, thinking that he created the Voyager spacecraft. Before Elio can clear it up, they attend an emergency meeting with Lord Grigon, a rejected warlord who threatens to take the Communiverso by force. The ambassadors plan to return Elio to Earth, but he decides to negotiate with Grigon for his immediate incorporation as ambassador. OOOOO creates a clone of Helium to take its place on Earth.
