Debate in the Miguel de Cervantes Room of Casa Am\u00e9rica<\/strong> this afternoon from 16.30 to 18.30 hours within the framework of the presentation of the report Connecting regions, closing gaps, building sovereignty. Digital Alliance EU – Latin America and the Caribbean: recommendations for the EU-CELAC Summit,<\/em><\/strong> by the Fundaci\u00f3n Carolina <\/strong>and the ECFR.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a context marked by growing geopolitical confrontation and global challenges, digital cooperation between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean is acquiring renewed strategic importance. This meeting will bring together representatives of governments, the private sector, civil society and academia from both regions with the aim of fostering a space for dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of the bi-regional digital agenda.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The debate will address key issues such as the expansion of connectivity infrastructures, strengthening cybersecurity, joint development of artificial intelligence and promotion of green technologies, with a view to consolidating the EU-US Digital AllianceLAC as a priority at the upcoming EU-CELAC 2025 Summit.<\/p>\n
