This queer and melodramatic musical comedy tells the love story between a punk singer, Billy Kohler, and Mimi Madamour, a pop icon. This passionate and sometimes too intense story, which borders on the tragic, presents two completely opposite characters, as if the world prevents them from loving each other. In an ultra-normative world where patriarchy reigns, it was important for Alexis Langlois to show that queer people can\u2019t love each other and that it\u2019s hard to love another person when you don\u2019t love yourself properly.<\/p>\n
