The Economic and Cultural Office of Taipei in Spain<\/strong> recommends the participation of the collective of Taiwanese artists lololol<\/em><\/strong> (Xia Lin & Sheryl Cheung), <\/strong>and video creator Yuchi Hsiao<\/strong> in the collective exhibition Cartograf\u00edas de la percepci\u00f3n, <\/em><\/strong>organized by the Art Madrid<\/strong> fair that is held from today and until next Sunday, March 9 in the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The exhibition of videoart curated by the platform PROYECTOR,<\/strong> presents a selection of international works that address different topics from contemporary perspectives of various countries that can be visited in the Tectonic Space of Art Madrid located at Stand D2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Representing Taiwan, the lololol artists collective presents the work Wafer Bearer Deep Rain, <\/em><\/strong>a narrative video that establishes a poetic and critical relationship between technical objectives and the human being, addressing the relationship between technology and everyday life in Taiwan, the current epicenter of semiconductor production at global level.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Contributing to the global approach, new media artist Yuchi Hsiao joins the exhibition by participating with the work Somewhere I Belong to Be,<\/em><\/strong> a video art in which she uses toy cars moving on her face to symbolize emotional liberation. Reflecting the act of letting go of what holds us back, action becomes a visual metaphor for detachment from the past and the beginning of a new path to discover.
