A house and an unexpected visit. She, a writer, was preparing to go through the hours alone, but a mysterious man has arrived and comes with forgotten questions. What was in the back room? This is a journey through light and memory, fear of shadow and search for meaning. A brave look at the past that holds secrets and the words that can sometimes save us.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Who is the man in black, where hides the island of Bergai, who seeks a call in the middle of the night? Mart\u00edn Gaite manages to embody the strength of imagination and intellect among the most plausible everyday life: a flat in Madrid where they spend the hours of any night that will eventually be decisive, and which will eventually become a magical manuscript.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The proposal brings to the scene a key book to understand the memory and effort of an entire generation of authors who had to break the taboos of their postwar childhood to find their own way. What makes this work unique is its ability to inhabit the ambiguous space between sleep and wakefulness; between realism and oneiric.
